Born in Ishikawa, Japan in 1973. Finished his master’s degree of Science and Engineering in University of Tsukuba. After working extensively at Caterpillar Inc. in hydraulic control valve design, on-machine sensor development and as a machine system development leader, he has been in his current position at TNSC since 2018. Currently, in addition to R&D of core technologies in major printing process such as PBF, powder DED, and wire DED, he is actively working on AM application development in Japan through collaboration with US partner companies of Velo3D, Zeda and Sintavia.
