GE Additive

Massimiliano (Max) Di Domenico is part of the EBM Product Management organization. In his current role, he leads initiatives linked to the expansion of EBM modality to new materials and applications. He is also responsible for coordinating legacy fleet management across the organization. He was previously in the GE Additive AddWorks consulting team, helping customers to initiate and accelerate their additive manufacturing journey. He tailored the GE Additive product portfolio to customers’ needs, including business case analysis, training, consulting and engineering services, up to industrialization and qualification. Max joined GE Additive in 2018, leading the qualification of GE Additive machines with a large European aerospace OEM and delivering to more than 50 customers (alone in 2020) customized product solutions to introduce additive manufacturing to markets such as aerospace, industrial, transportation, medical, motorsport, automotive. Max clocked almost 20 years experience in aerospace and propulsion industry, including research, development and production roles throughout his career. He set up and led large European aviation technology programs (10+M€) in collaboration with major EU aerospace companies (OEM, Tier 1) on the next-generation commercial aviation products. Prior to joining GE Additive, Max worked for GE Aerospace as combustion lead engineer and for another aerospace OEM as functional systems engineer - noise. Max holds a Master of Aerospace Engineering degree from University of Rome and a PhD in aerospace from University of Stuttgart.
